Our president Jackie Acksel has been a lifelong horsewoman, professional jockey and thoroughbred trainer. Established in 2021, OTTB Foundation has successfully placed over 75

horses in new careers off the track.

Our mission is creating a stress free environment to carefully restart our horses and set them

up for a successful future beyond racing. Our team was featured at the 2022 RRP for top 10

rehoming organizations in the country. And "Best Conditioned' at the 2021 RRP in the show

hunter division. With our hands on approach and expertise in the thoroughbred industry, our

graduates will learn the key fundamentals for their new adventure.
